At Stellar Home Inspections we believe in serving you with integrity and providing you with exceptional client service and value. Our goal is to provide our clients with a simple understanding of the house and its components, as well as the option to call us for advice and information for as long as you own the home.
We are fully licensed and insured Accredited Home Inspectors through Consumer Protection BC (CPBC). Our Building and Property Inspections examine the readily accessible and visible major systems, components, and equipment of the home. As trusted business professionals in our community, we provide unbiased reporting to all of our clients.
Owner / Home Inspector
Matthew (Mateyko) Kuzma moved to Victoria in 2008 as a reserve member of the Canadian Armed Forces, stationed in Esquimalt. He purchased his first home locally a year later. As a result, he learned about the process of becoming a homeowner and the importance of obtaining detailed information concerning the construction and maintenance of the home and its many operating systems. Matt broadened his knowledge of home maintenance by conducting his own renovations and repairs. To further pursue his home-related interests, he enrolled in the Electrical program at Camosun College and has worked for local electrical companies in residential construction. He has also work in the industrial sector extra-provincially. Matt is a Certified Journeyman Electrician, experienced in the installation of electrical systems in residential and commercial construction projects. He continuously strives to increase his knowledge in the real estate field and loves to take on new challenges. He has earned a reputation as a respected landlord who manages numerous tenants and takes personal care of his properties in the greater Victoria region.
Matt is a graduate of the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Program, which is one of the most respected names in the professional home inspection industry. He is a licensed Home Inspector through Consumer Protection BC (CPBC) - License #: 76427. As a result of his education, background, training and personal experiences concerning home ownership and maintenance, Matt is committed and motivated to provide potential home owners with clear, detailed and accurate information to empower them to make well-informed choices concerning one of life’s most important decisions – the purchase of a new home.
